How would a large network of 300+ PC’s be set up?

My school has a lot of computers in it and it has a large network, what i would like to know is how it would be set up, i know of four large cabinets which have a lot of ethernet switches and hubs and i know that there is a server room with what i think is 1 4tb drive which seems unlikely so it may be more that one drive. All answers will be greatly appriciated.
What I meant was how it would be configured e.g. how the storage would be connected to the network and how the network would be connected to the internet.

First person is right. It’s not worth 2 points (or even 12 points) to explain how to configure a network with over 300 hosts. Furthermore there is no one correct answer. It depends on the needs of the school.
